“Your Record of Independent Thought and Action Speaks for Itself”

With those words, the Local 2054 of the Transport Workers Union endorsed Congressman Stephen Lynch’s candidacy to represent the residents of the 9th district in Congress.

TWU cited Congressman Lynch’s longtime support dating back to when he was a State Senator and they were under assault by union busters. “Our members proudly consider you a brother and look forward to working with you in the future” said Union President Thomas Murray.

Congressman Stephen Lynch has earned a reputation in Congress as a strong supporter of working class families and has worked hard on issues that impact their daily lives. “I am proud and grateful to have the support of the men and women of Local 2054” Lynch said.  “With the economic difficulties our country is facing, we need to fight even harder in Congress to be sure working men and women have a strong voice”.
